A Perfect Staycation at GoldOne Hotel & Suites ( New Year Edition)We recently stayed at the GoldOne Hotel & Suites for a little staycation on Jeju, and it was absolutely delightful. We chose this hotel mainly for its prime location near Jungmun and the beaches, making it the perfect “home away from home” even for locals like us. From the moment we walked in, the hotel had this lovely old New York charm that felt both elegant and nostalgic. The architecture is gorgeous, and the place really has that “old money” feel that made us feel at home. We didn’t swim this time, but the pool looked inviting. What really stood out was the staff, especially Sally, who welcomed us with such a warm heart. The hotel made our anniversary feel so special with thoughtful touches like roses on the bed, towel cranes, and a handwritten card. They noticed we marked “honeymoon” on our booking (even though it was our anniversary) and went the extra mile to make it special. This is what separates hotels from each other!! The room was clean and comfortable with a spectacular ocean view. And a real highlight was the breakfast: on New Year’s Day, they served us tteokguk along with the regular breakfast spread, which even included steak…something you don’t even see at 5 star hotels. Finally, celebrating New Year’s on the rooftop with cookies, tea, and coffee while watching the first sunrise of the year was truly unforgettable. Overall, we can’t recommend GoldOne Hotel & Suites enough and we’ll definitely be back
