I had a great stay at GoldOne Hotel & Suites during our visit to Jeju. We stayed there for 3 nights as it served as our home base for exploring Jeju.

The hotel has a wonderful staff. Check-in was very pleasant as the gentlemen spoke perfect English and was very informative. It turned out that his daughter went to my alma mater so there was an instant connection. The staff made sure that we were comfortable and helped us with loading our luggage when it was raining. They also answered our endless questions about the surrounding. Everyone was smiling the entire time which indicates to me that they enjoy working at the hotel too.

The location of the hotel is also excellent. It is not located in the hustle and bustle of downtown Seogwipo and that means it is quieter and with less traffic. Within a 5 min drive, there is a Daiso, Olive Young, and an E-Mart. The E-Mart was particularly convenient as it was opened late (until 11 pm) and was a full supermarket with everything you might need. There were also several coffee shops and restaurants within driving distance. A rental car is a must and there is plenty of parking at the hotel.
